“TWO CHARITIES, ONE GOAL: TO SAVE LIVES”, A FUNDRAISING RECORD
Pop Rocks® was present at the charity event “Two Charities, One Goal: To Save Lives”. This Benefit Concert was held last April 4thth at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City and it was organized by R-Baby Foundation together with the collaboration of Michael’s Mission. The purpose of both organizations is to invest in research, education and training to improve children health care. For this reason they gathered for an exceptional event with a single purpose: donations that save lives.
Thanks to the efforts of organizers, the generosity of attendees and the cooperation of many sponsors, Pop Rocks® among them, the two foundations were able to raise 1.8 million dollars. During the event, there was an auction with prizes like concert tickets, vacation packages, golf outings, sporting activities, celebrity meet and greets, live tapings or luxury items.
For Pop Rocks® the way to support this cause was to provide popping candy for the elaboration of delicious cocktails at the Pop Rocks Cocktail Bar, thus providing a fun and surprising experience to all who gathered at the event.
